Module 2

19th Century Poster Design

In Module 2 we will examine the influence of 19th Century Poster Design on modern graphic design of the 21st century. The greatest influence comes from the Paris school of the Fin-De-Seicle (the french term for the end of the 19th century). These include artist printmakers such as Toulouse Lautrec, Theophile Alexandre Steinlen and Jules Cheret.
