Final Project, Part II
Assignment:
This is the second day dedicated to the Final Project. You will have one more class after this to complete it. There will be no extensions. Email me for assistance if you need it. Please refer back to our previous lesson on pencil techniques. This will refresh your memory as to what is required to complete this Final Project.
Due:
Materials:
- 18 x 24 pad, held horizontally or vertically
- Pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Gum eraser
- Comparison stick
- Drawing board
Final Project
Create a still life using the following objects:
- 1 box
- 1 ellipse- bottle or can
- 1 onion
- 1 apple
These skills must be evident in your drawing:
- You must use comparisons, vertical, horizontal and proportional.
- You must render each object in 5 values using the proper pencil technique. Including the table top and background.
- The box must be in 1 pt. or 2 pt. perspective depending on your view point.
- The bottle/can must be accurate. Draw them freely at first, then correct the ellipses if necessary. Refer to lessons if you need assistance.

Due: There will be no extensions on the Final.
